Huon Wine Trail

This tour is scheduled to depart each Wednesday however single travelers should check before booking. We start our tour with a visit to Mt Nelson to take in the wonderful scenery and then head down to the Valley with our first stop at the historic Apple Shed to explore the history of apple growing in the area and try a taste of 4 different ciders.

Travelling through apple orchards we then arrive at Home Hill Vineyard apart from wonderful wines their Cellar Door and restaurant is rather special as the building was built using rammed earth, polished cement and local hardwood.

Our lunch stop is at the very special Hartzview Vineyard, home of fortified fruit wines.

After lunch you will have a short time to explore the heritage Pickers Hut village.

It is then off to visit one of Tassies southern most vineyards, Elsewhere, overlooking the Huon river, they offer a slightly different range of wines along with beautiful views! Our last stop of the day is to visit Panorama Vineyard. A great range of wines here along with two very special additions, White Port and Pear Liquor, both of which are sensational!
