National Parks

Tasmania has some of the best National Parks in the world so come and enjoy the pristine air and spectacular scenery!

The following information is just to give you an idea of what a day out in our wonderful wilderness could be, let you imagination run wild and talk to us about how you would like to enjoy your personalised day in the wilderness. We can also arrange overnight stays so you can really explore Tasmania's incredible beauty! Our first stop is at Mt Field National Park to see Russell Falls and maybe spot some of the local wildlife.

Then it is on to Strathgordon and Lake Pedder. The forces of nature at work are never more evident when seeing the amazing rock formations in this area with the forces of man being very evident when viewing the dam. Our lunch stop is at the Lake Pedder Chalets. Then it is on to Scotts Peak Dam for more amazing pristine wilderness sights. We return to Hobart stopping for another ‘cuppa’ at either Westaway or New Norfolk depending on the time and availability. This is a very big trip and a long day but a visit to our pristine wilderness is well worth the effort. This tour can also be extended to overnight at either Lake Pedder Chalets or Giants Table at Maydenah however accommodation costs would also include the tour guide. This tour can also be changed to include Lady Barron Falls walk, the Tall Trees Styx Valley walk and Lake Dobson walk instead of Strathgordon and Scotts Peak Dam if required. There are many other options available, maybe a trip to the far south to visit, Tahune Airwalk, Hastings Caves or Ida Bay railway.

That is just some of the possibilities in Southern Tasmania if you look at the whole of the state, well the choice is endless!
